Briah Spencer (she/they) is the Program Associate of Policy and Practice at NACTO. In her role she actively contributes to NACTO’s street design and transportation policy priorities, develops content around these priorities, and facilitates space for discussion and alignment with NACTO’s membership network.
Briah began her career in higher education research at a social policy research nonprofit. There, she supported the evaluation and implementation of interventions designed to help students from low-income backgrounds succeed in and complete college. Most recently, they worked to coordinate community organizations focused on improved access to public space and physical activity in Harlem through advocacy and programming.
Briah received their Bachelor of Arts in Social Relations and Policy with a minor in Educational Studies.
