Jay Nath became San Francisco’s first Chief Innovation Officer and White House Champion of Change after establishing the nation’s first open source government software policy and San Francisco’s open data legislation. In collaboration with the White House, Nath launched the Mayor’s Entrepreneurship-in-Residence program offering an on-premises incubator at City Hall, meant to apply startup ingenuity directly to pain points within government itself. He previously worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and SquareTrade and graduated from Cornell.
