Benjamin Smith is a Senior Transportation Planner with the Seattle Department of Transportation, working on regional transit issues. He collaborates with King County Metro, Sound Transit and the local MPO, and coordinates several transit corridor improvement projects. He previously worked for Washington State Ferries, Sound Transit, URS and the former San Diego MTDB. He has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Urban Studies and Planning from the University of California at San Diego. He recently purchased a 1900 Victorian home in Seattle which is slowly becoming an urban farmstead.
