Getting Around

Chicago is a walking city with one of the world’s easiest-to-navigate downtown grids.

Get around by: walking, biking, Divvy bike share, CTA “L” trains and buses, or by Metra.

The CTA Blue Line connects directly to O’Hare International Airport, and the CTA Orange Line connects directly to Midway International Airport. Both airports serve most destinations around the country with direct flights.

With so many options, it’s helpful to have an app. Citymapper is a good bet, covering the vast majority of trips in the region.
