Getting Around

Chicago is a walking city with one of the world’s easiest-to-navigate downtown grids.

Get around by: walking, biking, Divvy bike share, CTA “L” trains and buses, or by Metra.

Thanks to CTA, all NACTO attendees will have an unlimited CTA pass valid throughout the conference. And thanks to Divvy and Motivate, all NACTO attendees will have a Divvy bike key, good for unlimited rides through Monday, November 6th!

Also try Via: use the code ‘NACTO’ to unlock discounted and free rides (new Via members only).

The CTA Blue Line connects directly to O’Hare International Airport, and the CTA Orange Line connects directly to Midway International Airport. Both airports serve most destinations around the country with direct flights. Coming from the airport? Purchase a single-ride airport pass, and then switch to using the unlimited NACTO pass once you pick up your badge!

With so many options, it’s helpful to have an app. Citymapper or the RTA Trip Planner are good bets, covering the vast majority of trips in the region.
